sidesaddle meditates on boundaries and disputes — on thresholds where landscapes shift and systems reveal their seams. Mechanisation, cycles and monocultures move together in a choreography of landscape histories.

Katie Watchorn is an Irish visual artist based in Amsterdam whose practice expands from the formal foundations of sculpture to explore the shifting relations between rural and urban life, labour, and technology. Her work is grounded in the material and sensory textures of her rural upbringing in Ireland while attentive to the infrastructural logics of contemporary urban living.
