Tessa Langeveld is a visual artist working with video, animation, installation, drawing, sound and sculpture. In her practice, she explores the emotional experience of spaces by approaching film as a spatial medium. Focusing on domestic actions - someone opening a door, or practicing the piano in the other room - she uses fragmented narratives and recurring visual and auditive motifs to construct an atmosphere where calm and suspense constantly intertwine.
